Saucygoldfish Designs is a collection of unique baskets and jewelry handmade by Katie McCurdy, who lives in Burlington, Vermont. She has sold jewelry at the Green Closet in Winooski, VT, and the Bern Gallery and the Clothing Line in Burlington; she has also participated in some local craft markets and the local Artist's Market. She also displayed baskets at Art on Main gallery in Bristol, Vermont. McCurdy is a classically trained basketeer and jeweler, having absorbed much knowledge of these subjects while employed as a craft shop instructor at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. She has also completed a certificate of web development at champlain college (see her work) Whether crafting a basket or a pair of earrings, McCurdy strives to choose novel pairings of colors and materials while creating attractive and high-quality pieces.
